Competition Team Instructions

  1. Please arrive at the venue at or before your assigned time

    • Amateur adobo - 9:30am Saturday Aug 10

    • Ube dessert - 1:30pm Saturday Aug 10

    • Filipino BBQ - - 11:30am Sunday Aug 11

    • Lumpia - 1:30pm Sunday Aug 11

      The venue is

      Schertz Civic Center

      1400 Schertz Parkway

      Schertz, TX 78154

  2. Go through the front door and find the Sign In table and ask for your Volunteer wristband.

  3. You will be directed to the Judges’ Area for a meeting

Roles

  • Coordinator - Oversee competition

  • Competitor registration - sign in competitors

  • Scorer - Enter competition scores in scoresheets

Workflow

  1. Competitor  shows up at turn-in time

  2. Competitor registration adds the entry ID to the entry container

  3. Coordinator takes a picture of the entry for Instagram

  4. Coordinator gives entry to judges

  5. Judges write down the entry ID in their scoresheet

  6. Judges taste the food and score

  7. Scorer enters in scores in the official scoring spreadsheet (shared Google Sheets)

  8. Scorer and Coordinator review final scores and placings

  9. Coordinator will keep the final placings confidential until the awards ceremony the same day
