Volunteer Photographer Instructions for the Adobo Throwdown Event
Welcome and thank you for volunteering to capture the memorable moments of our event! Here’s a detailed guide to help you navigate the various segments of the event.
General Tips:
- Arrive Early: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the event starts to familiarize yourself with the venue and lighting conditions. 
- Equipment Check: Ensure your camera, lenses, and other equipment are in good working order. Bring extra batteries and memory cards. 
- Discretion: Move around discreetly to avoid interrupting the event. 
Press Badges and Press Table:
- Press Badges: You will be issued press badges upon arrival. Please wear these at all times to ensure you have access to all areas of the event. 
- Press Table: You are welcome to sit at the designated press table 
Key Segments to Capture:
- Opening Ceremony: - Venue Shots: Capture wide-angle shots of the venue, including the stage, decorations, and audience as they arrive. 
 
- Opening Remarks: - Speakers: Take clear shots of each speaker as they address the audience. Include a mix of close-ups and medium shots that show the speaker’s expressions and gestures. 
- Audience Reactions: Capture audience engagement, including smiles, claps, and attentive listening. 
 
- Sponsorship Appreciation: - Sponsors: Photograph sponsors receiving their appreciation plaques or certificates. Include shots of them with event organizers and any signage or banners displaying sponsor logos. 
- Group Photos: Take group photos of sponsors with the event organizers. 
 
- Singing Performances: - Performers: Capture the singers in action. Get close-ups of their expressions and full-body shots to show their stage presence. 
- Audience Engagement: Take photos of the audience enjoying the performances, clapping, or singing along.

Goal: Promote Adobo Throwdown V3 heavily on social media to grow our following and encourage more people to attend, especially boosting attendance on Sunday.
Instagram:
- Capture Engaging Moments: - Focus on vibrant, lively photos that capture the essence of the event—delicious food, happy attendees, and exciting competitions. 
- Take close-up shots of dishes, wide shots of the crowd, and candid moments of interaction 
 
- Use the Right Hashtags: - Always use the hashtag #AdoboThrowdownV3. 
- For any pictures featuring Mama Sita’s products, tag @mamasitas. 
 
- Engage with the Audience: - Add engaging captions that invite people to join us on Sunday. Example: “Having a blast at #AdoboThrowdownV3! Can’t wait to see even more faces tomorrow. Don’t miss out on the fun! 🎉”
