  3. Did Adobo Throwdown used to cost money?
    Yes — earlier events charged for admission. Starting with 4.0, we're opening the doors to everyone for free, thanks to our vendors, sponsors, and PACC-GSA.

  4. Do I need to RSVP, or can I just walk in?
    Walk-ins are welcome — admission is free either way. RSVPing on Kultura.RSVP takes under a minute and means we can reach you with any schedule updates.

  5. Who can participate in the cooking contests?
    Anyone who loves to cook and has a passion for Filipino cuisine is welcome to participate in the cooking contests.

  6. How do I register for the cooking contests?
    Registration details are available at contest sign-up page. Please check our website for updates.

  7. Can I volunteer as a judge for any of the cooking competitions?‍ ‍
    You can sign up as a volunteer judge at our Volunteer Signup page. Make sure you check the box for Cooking competition/scoring.

  8. What are the prizes for the cooking contests?
    The winners of each cooking contest will receive fantastic prizes and the chance to be featured on our website and social media platforms.

    We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will follow all necessary safety measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our participants and attendees.

  10. Are pets allowed at the event?
    Pets are not allowed at the event, except for service animals.

    Yes, free parking is Garden Ridge Community and Event Center.
