Roles

  • Competitor - amateur cooking contestant

  • Photographer - person in charge of taking picture for Presentation judge

  • Coordinator - Person in charge of coordinating Amateur Competition

  • Assistant Coordinator - checks in competitor, assigns entry number, brings entries to judges

  • Scorer - enters all scores in scoring worksheets

  • Scorer's assistant - assist the Scorer

Workflow

  1. Competitor  shows up at turn in time

  2. Assistant Coordinator assigns entry number

  3. Competitor sets up plate for presentation

  4. Photographer takes picture of presentation plate

  5. Assistant Coordinator  brings entry for the judges

  6. Flavor judges taste the food and score

  7. Presentation judge scores presentation plate

  8. Flavor judges give scoresheets  to  Scorer

  9. Presentation judge gives scoresheet to Scorer

  10. Scorer enters in scoring spreadsheet

  11. Scorer and Coordinator review final scores and placings

  12. Coordinator will keep the final placings confidential until awards
