Vendor Policies and Procedures

  1. The Adobo Throwdown Cooking Competition and Expo will take place rain or shine. Vendor fees are non-refundable.

  2. You will be renting a 10X10 space. Vendors must keep all products within rented booth space.

  3. You must provide a list of all items that will be sold, distributed, and/or displayed in your application and subject to review by the Adobo Throwdown Review Committee. If the Vendor sells, distributes, and/or displays any item not on the list approved by the Adobo Throwdown Review Committee, the booth will be shut down and the vendor fee will not be refunded.

  4. Vendors are prohibited from having or drinking alcohol inside the leased facility.

  5. Vendors are responsible for all signage

  6. Vendors may accept cash or credit card payments. All Vendors are responsible for collecting/paying Texas State Sales Tax as applicable to their product.

  7. Nails, thumbtacks, tape (masking, Scotch, painters, or duct tape) and push pins will not be permitted to be driven into or applied to the walls, floors, partitions, or any portion of the leased facility.

  8. The use of glitter, confetti, rice, birdseed, grains, etc inside the leased facility is strictly prohibited.

  9. The hanging or suspending of any materials from the ceiling is strictly prohibited.

  10. In compliance with state and local regulations, vendors are strictly prohibited from selling, distributing, or displaying any items that are prohibited by the State of Texas and the City of Schertz. It is the vendor's responsibility to familiarize themselves with and adhere to all relevant laws and regulations concerning prohibited items. Failure to comply with these regulations will result in an immediate shutdown of the vendor's booth and forfeiture of the vendor fee.
